Anza Kidogo’s Elevate Campaign is a comprehensive support program designed to assist high school students navigate the college selection and application process. Our goal is to help highly qualified students reach their full potential by showing them the options available and helping them gain access. The vision is to assist with college selection and help with the application process through essay direction, editing, interview prep, and follow through. Upon submission of applications, the support will continue with Financial Aid and Scholarship guidance to ensure their dream can actually be a reality. Finally, Elevate will continue to be a helping hand through their Freshman year with steps such as housing, class selection, and more.
Elevate’s hope is to build off the support of existing college counselors, primarily in underserved markets. Our ideal candidates are talented or high-performing students entering their senior year of high school with the motivation and ambition to achieve higher. In keeping with the overreaching mission of Anza Kidogo, an Elevate candidate would need to be from socio-economically challenged backgrounds, or first-generation students.
What we do:

Help students select which schools are right for them based on accessibility, achievable acceptance, and proposed majors – will assist with up to 5 schools per candidate

Will ensure all necessary testing requirements have been met, with waiver assistance for exam fees, as necessary

Assist with the application process, including aiding with recommendations and transcript requests

Review/coach them on essays, writing submissions and interview skills

Help navigate and secure eligible scholarships and financial aid

Support them from acceptance through their first freshman year
